I heard from someone that riding a snowmobile in dry dirt in the summer time would damage and lock up the tracks on a snowmobile and was wondering if there is any truth to that? I ume friction and heat might cause the bearings to lock up, but I think as long as you keep it in soft dirt like mud or average trail conditions, it might do fine. Any ideas? I would love to convert a snowmobile with A-arms and ATV front wheels/suspension for dirt use, much more powerful and versatile than a standard ATV
