A lovebird or an other parrot?

You could try a green cheek conure. They aren't as noisy as the other types are and they are usually pretty playful. My mom's thinks it's fun to run around his cage laughing or run through her hair to play peekaboo. He is pretty talkative and for a bird that size doesn't bite too hard. My brother got one and she is more on the calmer side (the male is a spaz) so she doesn't run around as much but she'll still sit on his shoulder and talk when she thinks no one is listening.
