Do someones birthplace decides their life?

I am nepalese. Because of poverty of our country we can't get better education, food, health, residence and many other essentials materials. Although natural beauty of Nepal is highest of the world, but we want to leave our country. We can see best but we can't eat best. we feel unsafe from India because it is big country than nepal. And India want to make our land, resources(like water,Gauttam Buddha, Mt.Everest and Terai land) its own. Because of landlocked from India and china. We are so sad. Our poverty is our big problem. our average per capita income is only 200$.Do someones birthplace decides their life?
