I have a mole on my face is that a turnoff?

I have a mole the left of my face above my lip. Ive recently been turned down alot by girls. is the mole a turn off. my parents say its a beauty mark but people make fun of it because they think its mole. What Should i do? remove it? thank please answer serious bye
