Well, you could always try to play the "it will be better for my social development" card. Highschool will be something you will always remember, and it's best to enjoy it.. And it beats waiting and moving back to Vegas when you're halfway through highschool, you'd have to spend your time setting up new friendships instead of enjoying your final years there.
