Is it really true that mentally ill people prefer the Republicans?

We knew that all along (see: serial killer Ted Bundy, church shootings, school shooting sprees, Holocaust Museum shooting, terrorist who murdered Dr. Tiller, etc.) but it's always good to have empirical data as well.
